Hair growth consists of three phases:

Death and falling out phase - katagen

During depilation only hair which is currently in anagen phase will be removed. That is why the treatment on a certain area must be repeated minimum three times to remove 98% of hair. The first treatment removes 40-60% of hair.
On what does number of depilation treatments depend?
- Hairbreadth
- Thickness of the skin
- The color of the hair
- Interval from the last depilation with wax, epilator or tweezers
It is possible that the first treatment removes hair completely but the most often it needs 3-6 repetitions. Before the treatment it is required to have a laser and skin condition test. Rash and swelling can appear around follicles after depilation. These symptoms and also small scabs should disappear after 3-4 days.
How to prepare for Light Sheer laser hair removal?
- few days before the treatment you should well moisturize the skin, on the day of depilation do not apply any cream
- do not tan one month prior to the treatment as it can cause skin burns. It is applicable for solarium as well
- do not use wax, epilator or tweezers one month prior to the depilation of face and 6 weeks before removing hair from other body parts. You can shave hair with razor or cut with trimmer. Chemical cream depilation should be stopped one week prior to the treatment.
Stop taking:
Antibiotics – 2 weeks of interval
Cosmetics and drugs exfoliating the skin
Creams with C vitamin, retinol, isotretinoin, fruit acids - 1 month of interval
Slimming tea or pills - minimum 3 weeks of interval
Mechanical or chemical peelings – 1 week of interval
How to care of the skin after Light Sheer laser hair removal?
- apply regular depilation. Depending on individual features treatment needs to be repeated every 4-8 weeks. Significant reduction or elongation of this period may give worse effect
- do not take sunbathing on epilated areas! Apply creams with high UV filter during 2 weeks after the treatment
- do not use for minimum 2 weeks cosmetics and drugs sensitizing for light, containing St. John's wort and marigold
- for the first few days until reddening disappears do not use soap, alcohol, deodorants etc. which can irritate the skin
- do not perform an additional depilation or peelings
- few times per day for 2-3 days apply Alantan, Solcoseryl or Bepanthen on the skin.
Contraindications:
- pregnancy
- pacemaker
- cancer, including the healed one
- natural suntan
- suntan caused by air-brush and self-tanned products
- using creams with retinol, retinoid and medicines sensitizing for light
- taking products with St. John's wort and marigold
- wax or tweezers depilation in a period shorter than 4-6 weeks prior to the treatment
- albinism, psoriasis
- after professional face cleaning you should wait 14 days
