How does Carboxytherapy work?
Carboxytherapy is a method, which roots date back to 1938. French doctors have observed improvement in the quality of the skin of patients who were subjected to baths in the naturally carbonated water. For many years, this method had been forgotten, until the time when the French laboratory of Fusion Mesotherapy resumed clinical research on this therapy. The results exceeded all expectations of doctors.
Carboxytherapy proved to be an excellent cure for many problematic issues. The mechanism of its action, depending on the problem, has a high flexibility:
- Treatment of cellulite and reduction of fat accumulation - based on the natural lipolysis of fat acids leading to the destruction of fat cells. In addition, CO2 increases the capacity of the blood vessels, thus contributing positively to the stimulation of the lymphatic system, minimizing swelling and detoxifying.
- Treatment of stretch marks and rebuilding of collagen - based on the stimulation of fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin fibers, which aims to improve the density and color of the skin. This treatment removes 80% of stretch marks, including those which appeared years ago. Carboxytherapy is excellent for firming the skin on the breasts.
- Treatment for hair loss and skin revitalization - streamlines the process of neovascularization (the formation of new blood vessels) which results in a significant improvement in skin blood flow. The extensive network of blood vessels provides more oxygen and nutrients to all cells of the skin, leading to its nourishment, oxygenation and revitalization.
How safe is the treatment?
CO2 is produced by human cells as a result of burning of oxygen. This means that it is highly inert for every type of body. It can be regarded as being eco-friendly and therapeutic. Because of this Carboxytherapy is an excellent alternative to classic liposuction, without the complications associated with treatment.
The course of therapy
The procedure is performed with the microinjection with the use of Concerto ® device. It is the only device working with such a precision for this kind of treatment. The treatment is pain free so it is not causing discomfort to the patient. It is possible due to specialized catheter, which lowers the pressure of the injected CO2 to the physiological value. Furthermore, the needle has no direct connection with a syringe, so that its contact with the skin is gentle, painless and does not damage the continuity of the blood vessels, thereby reducing risk of bruising and bruises.
How often can the treatments be carried?
- Carboxytherapy for body and stretch marks – injection of CO2 can be carried out either daily (for cellulite) or in intervals of not more than 10 days, in a series of 6 to 10 treatments. During one application injections can be performed on one larger area (eg. bottom + sides, front and back of the thighs) or two smaller areas (bottom, arms, chin, chest + neck, knees, inner thighs).
- Carboxytherapy on the scalp - the treatments are performed once every two weeks, in a series of 6-10 treatments.
Carboxytherapy as a supplementary treatment to classical Mesotherapy
Carboxytherapy is an excellent complementary treatment to Mesotherapy.
A series of sterile and highly active preparations enhances the processes initiated by the carbon dioxide.
Treatment with F-Carnitine 25% cocktail - transports fat acids into the mitochondria, causing their conversion into energy and burning them.
Treatment with F-Silorg 1% cocktail active organic silicon reinforces collagen fibers, causing them to rebuild and create new connections - ideal for loose skin and stretch marks.
Treatment with F-XBC BODY cocktail - due to the content of lipase caffeine, silicon, l-carnitine, taurine and plant extracts it works on many levels to reduce cellulite, eliminate toxins and excess water, stimulating the metabolism and firming the skin.
